A hog roast benefit and fundraiser will be held for the family of 18-year-old Jonathan Bolinger, who died in a tragic drowning accident during a graduation party June 19.

The Butler-Perrysville community and Jonathan's church family at the North Bend Church of the Brethren in Butler, is coming together Saturday August 14, from 4 to 9 p.m., to help raise funds to help ease the financial needs of the Bolinger family.

The benefit will be held at 5031 Barron Road in Perrysville and will offer food, games and prizes, face painting, raffles, a cornhole tournament, an auction and much more.

If you would like to make a monetary donation or to donate items for the benefit, you may send your donation in care of the Bolinger family to 1787 Snyder Road, Butler, Ohio 44822. Any check can be made out to the North Bend Church of the Brethren. For further information call Tami Oyster at 419-883-2202.
